Beef is available through the late fall and winter. Some may be available in the early spring as well.
1/8 of a beef is guaranteed to have at least 50 lbs of cut meat, and is a mix of standard cuts. You cannot have custom processing on 1/8 but it is the most affordable!
Any portion of a beef, 1/4 or more, allows for customized processing. Our prices are based on the carcass pound, and processing is typically $1.35 per carcass lb extra.
We also raise small batches of hogs on the side, and sell them direct as well. These are typically booked to Wagner Locker in Winterset, and processing is custom and paid separately at this time.
A half a hog will cost approximately $100, depending on size.
A whole hog will give you plenty of meat, however you like it.
